My g-g-grandmother was Regina Becnel born in Edgard, LA. She married Robert Haydel they had 3 children:
Roberta (1894-1985) m Ernest Letulle
Osciana (abt 1897) did not marry
Joseph, Sr (1898-1970) m Agnes Chiassson
Regina died young so these children didn't know their mother well.

Regina was the daughter of Pierre Benjamin Becnel (b.1838) Marie Elize Loup (1837-1927) Their children were:
Lezin Louis Becnel (1868-1953) m Amelie Haydel
Lezina or Lelina (b. abt 1870)
Regina Marie (b. abt. 1872 - died abt. 1900) m Robert Haydel

My great grandparents were Lezin Louis Becnel adn Amelie Haydel. My grandmother was their daughter Leslie Becnel (Templet) Married to John "Buddy" Templet.

I do have some information on the Templet family. I also have some information about the Becnel line. Do you know what Templet line you are from?

After re-reading your query, I do believe you are off the same line I am from the Francois Servant Templet line. I do have a lot data information and am willing to share them with you.

Ahhh...my great grandparents were also Lezin Louis Becnel and Marie Amelie Haydel. My grandfather was Ivy Becnel, one of Lezin's sons. I've seen a family history for Lezin pulled together somewhere. Would need to look for it though.
