Hi Larry (and Mike if you read this also.)
My name is Lori Becknell. I believe that Mike is a distant cousin and has been very helpful to my husbands family in helping us gather all the family info. We come off of Dabney born 1780 through son George Wash. Becknell then Charles Thomas Becknell. I am still looking for information on Dabney. Have you or anyone you know looked in the DAR library in Wash. I was just on their wed site and it looks as if they have lots of books on Amherst Co. about the time on Dabney's birth. I am going to call them tomorrow to find out about paying for some research time. let me know if you find anything and I will do the same. Lori in San Antonio, TX
