I am looking for descendants of William Becknell who was a representative wiht the Republic of Texas in Columbia, Texas on October 3, 1836. We are dedicating a beautiful park with 20 historical stations, native plants and walking path to the history that happened at that time in Texas. Would love to have descendants of William Becknell to attend the dedication of "Capitol of Texas Park - A Walk through the Birth of Texas" on April 17, 2009.
