William Charles Becknell was my husbands grandfather.
William was married to nancy jane earny, & sometime in the late 1920's married Lillie Mae (Freels) Becknell. ( i assume in Custer County them both being in the area around this time). william had a son from the previos marriage, Raymond Becknell, & Lillie Mae, had a daughter from her previous marriage. they had nine more children together, of only which two daughters are still living, one of them being my husbands mother, Bonnie. they moved to stella,cleveland county, oklahoma sometime around 1945. Both william and lillie mae becknell are buried in stella cemetery, along with several of their children.
