Hi, I was looking up a "Lee McRatliff" on my search engine and the Bicknell website kept appearing. I have a letter penned in 1858 from William Weatherford to (the handwriting is hard to decifer) a Mr. Lee McRatliff (?). He is asking about how things are in Texas. William Weatherford (my anscestor) was writing from Tuscaloosa County, AL. He was planning to travel to Texas. He mentions a Ben and a Zack. Neither of these names had a last name. Can you shed any light on who this letter may have been written to?
