Larry,
Dabney was the son of Thomas Bicknell and Rachel Sparks.
Thomas was the son of my gggg grandfather, William Clark Bicknell and Rosanna Hannah Cash.
Dabney married Catherine Brandon and had 11 children. Dabney was born in Virginia and moved to Union, Sc.
No one knows who is the father of William Clark, U think he came from the Northern Bicknells and was probably born in RI or Maryland. There has been some recent info that his father was Samuel Bicknell from Philadelphia who was a Captain of the Ship "Mary of Philadelph" I cannot find any substantion of that fact.
