Hello,
I have been searching for any family members related to Larkin Jones Becknell [b: 5 jul 1804 Wilkes, NC - d:Jul 1881 , Mercer, WV] Larkin's father was Samuel Bicknell. Samuel Bicknell [11 Feb 1745 Albemarle, VA - 21 Aug 1819 Wilkes, NC]... married to second wife Elizabeth Fitzpatrick abt 1801. Elizabeth was the mother of Larkin. Samuell's father was William Bicknell. My grandfather would be Samuel Clyde Beckner [11 Feb 1916 NC- 23 July 1978 ,Los Angeles, CA] whose father is Elmore T Beckner [8 Sep 1888 ,Wilkes, NC- 22 Sep 1961 Bluefield, Mercer, WV] whose father is Jordon B Beckner [ca 1840 Wilkes, NC - 17 Apr 1915 ,Wilkes, NC]...The father of Jordon B Beckner was Larkin Jones Becknell who I believe whose mother was a slave of Larkin's. Please help me put closure to my family tree. Thank you
