I am researching J.H. Becknell and noticed that Dabney & Catherine Becknell, had a son by the name of James H..
My GGrandfather was a J.H. Becknell, do not know who his parents were, but he married Mary Melinda Atkinson, May 16, 1884, in West Plains, Mo.
None of the family ever heard much about him, except that
my grandmother said that he died before 1900 in Oklahoma.
I have gone over a lot of information that I remember hearing as a child. One aunt said grandma was raised in Atoka County. Grandma married at Krebs, Oklahoma in 1906, to Anthona Novinski, he was from some place in Germany.
I would like to know more about the children of Dabney.
