I am an African-American Becnel that is searching for her ancestors. I have found numerous sites discussing about Thomas Becnel's voyage from England. I have also checked many censuses and was able to find some mulatto and black Becnels in St. John the Baptist Parish (where my father is from.) However, I would still like to know where these Becnel's relate to me and how a Black line of Becnels developed from Thomas'. Please help me.
